September 8, 2026

NEWARK, NJ (Sept. 8, 2026) – Panasonic Connect North America will showcase its broad portfolio of smart manufacturing solutions at SMTA Guadalajara Expo & Tech Forum (booth #746), taking place Oct. 7-8 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Panasonic Connect provides a range of electronics assembly solutions, including equipment, software and services spanning surface mount technology (SMT), pin through hole (PTH), odd-form and end-of-line automation, microelectronics and metrology. On display will be a variety of these solutions, with printer and placement technology among those featured, which are designed to help manufacturers improve operational efficiency, increase production visibility and build more connected, flexible production environments.

Electronics manufacturers across Mexico are investing in automation, connected equipment and data-driven technologies as smart manufacturing becomes a larger part of day-to-day production. The challenge is effectively integrating these technologies across production without disrupting operations. Panasonic Connect’s electronics assembly solutions combine connected, automated equipment with manufacturing software to help manufacturers better manage materials, monitor production and optimize processes across the factory floor.

“We’re honored to make our first dedicated booth appearance at SMTA Guadalajara Expo & Tech Forum and engage with Mexico’s dynamic electronics manufacturing community,” said Scott Zerkle, Associate Director of Technical Operations for Panasonic Connect North America. “Manufacturers are under growing pressure to improve productivity and maintain quality while adapting to increasingly complex production demands. Automation, connectivity and data-driven insights can help manufacturers build more agile, intelligent operations that are better equipped to meet these demands. At Panasonic Connect, we’re focused on helping manufacturers connect people, processes and production technologies to streamline operations and drive greater productivity across the factory.”
