Safe & Sophisticated Components

The system has been engineered to be as low profile and non-intrusive as possible. An integrated cable management system, along with its anti-static carpet allows for a clean, low-profile installation and safe movement. The internal motors and its worm gear are engineered for quiet operation suitable for any noise-sensitive live production environment. A tooth belt connects the front and rear axes to provide the maximum amount of traction force.

Modular Show Design Creativity

The system can be designed with your current and future live productions needs in mind. Install various tracks and add up to 2 dollies on a track. The system has been designed to adapt to flexible configuration options, accounting for various payloads, along with an equipped intelligent collision avoidance system for extra safety. The two pipe rails are electrically insulated to simplify future upgrades and to reduce interference.

Shot Sequencing & Repeatable Camera Motion

The TUNING S software allows you to create up to 100 different customized shot positions using keyframes across an extended 4-axis plane, incorporating pan, tilt, horizontal and vertical positioning. Sequences of movement with all the axes, including pant/tilt/zoom/focus can be synchronized to automate your live production and give you amazing, smooth on-air results. Additionally, these sequences can be named for optimal customization.

Camera Preset Thumbnails

All your saved shot positions and sequences can be recalled with precision via preset thumbnail icons, similar to those found in sophisticated broadcast technology systems. This helps eliminate the need for operators to memorize all the positions on a keyboard. To make operation even smoother, operators can select multiple scenes via the controller to execute sequential movements through multiple keyframes. Additionally, these presets can be named for optimal customization.

Integrated AR / VR Positioning

The Panasonic PTZ camera and TUNING track dolly position can be sent in real-time to a 3rd party system for precise integration with an Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality environment. Panasonic's AW-UE150 PTZ camera features integrated FreeD support for even more accurate positioning.

Advanced New Camera Moves

Go beyond the basic moves of a simple dolly or a jib. With the direct integration of Panasonic PTZ cameras and the TUNING robotic system, an entirely new world of camera movement is made possible. Now instead of being stuck making moves in a 2-axis environment, you are now free to create visual magic across 4-axes. Using various combinations of floor dollies, ceiling dollies, and robotic telescopic columns you can create impressive, smooth on-air shots ideal for live broadcast, streaming, or IMAG. The system features a total of 6 axis, including pan, tilt, zoom, focus, column and dolly.

  • TPT-TW001
    • Control of up to 10 PTZ camera systems in different configurations: standalone camera, floor dolly, ceiling dolly or telescopic column
    • Movement is managed by creating presets and sequences (tracing memories) that can be easily recalled by tapping on the thumbnail
    • Tracing memories are created based on keyframes (max 20 for each movement), that can be added or removed anytime and the time between keyframes is also configurable
    • Up to 100 Presets
    • Sequences and presets can be named for optimal customization
    • TUNING S software works with and without the dolly and/or totem and can be used without the Dolly or Column to manage presets and tracing memories of up to 10 stationary cameras, storing up to 100 positions

  • TPT-TM003

    • Provides control of 2-axes:  Dolly and Totem (Total: 4-axis: Pan/Tilt/Horizontal/Vertical)
    • Works in combination with Panasonic AW-RP50, AW-RP120 and AW-RP150 camera controllers for easy 1-person operation
    • The DC-10 follows the camera selected in the Panasonic controller
    • Both Panasonic and TUNING controllers are linked via GPIO cable (included)
    • One DC-10E can control a maximum of five PTZ cameras installed on Tecnopoint devices
    • Compact footprint, sized similarly to the Panasonic AW-RP50 compact remote camera controller

    • The TUNING Floor/Ceiling Dolly plus Totem is a motorized dolly on a straight track that can go up to 65 feet-7 inches (20 m), with a Totem 50 on it
    • Column stroke of 1 foot-9 inches (5.5 m): Ranging from 4 feet-3 inches (13 m) to 6 feet-8 inches (18.5 m)
    • Maximum speed of the dolly is 1.6 feet/second
    • The customizable track can be used indoor and outdoor and has 1 foot-3 inch inter-axis. 
    • It is possible to install more than one dolly on the same track
    • The connections are based on conventional cables, such as BNC and LAN
    • The weight of the combined dolly and column is approximately 83 pounds
    • The dolly is powered with an included power supply of 24 V. The system includes another power supply of 12 V, designed specifically for Panasonic PRO PTZ cameras

  • TPT-TO001

    • The TUNING Totem is a motorized telescopic column with a stroke of  2 feet-7 inches (0.8-meters) in one stage
    • The height range of the Totem is from 5 feet-3 inches to 8 feet-2 inches
    • The Totem must be installed on the floor, to be used as a stationary column
    • The cables are managed inside a chain that extends and retracts alongside the column
    • The connections are based on conventional cables, such as BNC and LAN.
    • Using a PTZ camera such as the Panasonic AW-HE130, the lens axis would be between 5 feet-4 inches and 7 feet-11 inches above the floor
    • The Totem is powered with an included 24 V power supply, and the system also includes a 12 V power supply, designed for Panasonic PTZ cameras
