Panasonic Showcases TAA Compliant Solutions for Next-Gen Training & Defense Simulation Environments at I/ITSEC 2025
NEWARK, N.J. – November 20, 2025 – Panasonic Projector & Display Americas LLC and Panasonic Connect North America, Division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, today announced that they will showcase advanced solutions to drive simulation environments for immersive defense trainings at I/ITSEC 2025, taking place December 1-4, 2025 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL (booth #535).
On the projection side, Panasonic Projector & Display Americas will feature the PT-REQ series of TAA-compliant laser projectors, which create immersive simulation experiences with high brightness and 4K resolution. With these projectors, defense organizations can create engaging environments while meeting government requirements. From training classrooms to command and-control centers, the PT-REQ series delivers clear, crisp, ultra-bright visuals that command attention. Quad Pixel Drive supports smooth 4K images without visible pixels or gridding while high-speed video can be displayed with input-to-output latency of 6ms or less, smoothly reproducing fast-moving objects and action sequences.
Showcasing mission-focused performance in action, Panasonic Connect will demonstrate how TOUGHBOOK® rugged laptops and tablet devices support next-gen training and simulation environments across defense. From supporting flightline instruction to AI-enhanced simulation, TOUGHBOOK delivers edge-ready performance built for real-world complexity. With Intel® Core™ processing, discreet GPU support, and field-swappable xPAKs, users can run high-fidelity training environments, manage logistics, and adapt to evolving scenarios without changing devices. Built-in cybersecurity, all-day battery, and MIL-spec durability keep the focus on readiness, not downtime. Whether supporting immersive training or system readiness, TOUGHBOOK helps bridge the gap between preparation and execution.
Panasonic will also highlight its partnership with Igloo Vision, the shared immersive space company. The booth will feature a TAA-compliant 5x5-meter immersive space powered by Igloo’s Igloo Core Engine software and Panasonic PT-REQ projectors and controlled by TOUGHBOOK laptops and tablets. Designed to meet the needs of the defense and government sectors, the space features a floor-to-ceiling 360° projection environment that lets teams collaborate in simulated mission environments, visualize complex data and practice critical operations all while meeting TAA compliance and TS/SCI security clearance.
“Life-like simulated training environments are critical to help defense professionals practice collaboration and decision-making,” said Taka Uchida, CEO of Panasonic Projector & Display Americas. “We’re proud to come together with our partners and showcase the latest developments in immersive, TAA-compliant tech that are bringing these environments to life.”
