Disney’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is an extraordinary attraction that beautifully blends cutting-edge technology with immersive storytelling. Located in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort, this enchanting experience invites guests into the heart of a vibrant narrative, enhanced by Panasonic's innovative projection technology.

Since 2016, Panasonic has been the “Official Projection Technology” of the Walt Disney World® Resort and Disneyland® Resort, and their contributions have helped redefine the way Disney brings stories to life in the theme parks. Through advanced 4K laser projectors and sophisticated image-mapping systems, Panasonic creates stunning visuals that seamlessly integrate with the physical environments of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

One of the most captivating elements of this attraction is how the characters spring to life through a combination of projection and sculpted elements. See Mama Odie casting her magical glow or discovering bioluminescent fireflies dancing above the bayou—a visual feast made possible by Panasonic’s high-brightness, high-contrast projection technology that ensures every hue and detail stands out.

Similar to the enchanting experience found in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction, , Tiana’s Bayou Adventure features projection-mapped skies and scenic windows that evolve as you journey through this magical world. Each moment is designed to draw you deeper into the narrative, bringing it to life with layers of vibrant movement and color.

To create this unique attraction, Disney sought projection technology capable of delivering exceptional brightness, vivid colors, and striking contrast. Panasonic engineers collaborated closely with the Disney team, resulting in a bespoke experience tailored specifically for this enchanting setting. Panasonic’s lightweight PT-RQ25K 3-Chip DLP™ projector series, known for being the smallest and lightest 20,000-lumen projector available at the time, seamlessly integrated into the attraction, maximizing space without sacrificing performance.

Additionally, the diverse scenes throughout the bayou demanded a versatile range of optics, including wide-angle and short-throw lenses, ensuring every magical moment is captured in stunning detail. Designed for long-term reliability, Panasonic's solid shine projectors ensure consistent, reliable, and captivating experiences for years to come.
