Panasonic Connect Launches New Customer Experience Center
The new Chicago-area facility showcases Panasonic Connect’s rich history and latest solutions
Hoffman Estates, IL | December 18, 2024 – Panasonic Connect North America today launched its new Customer Experience Center (CXC) in Hoffman Estates, IL. A converted warehouse, the space was reimagined and designed as a 6,400 square-foot immersive briefing center. Customers, partners, and employees can gather to learn about the company’s history and diverse portfolio of offerings across a broad range of industries from manufacturing to live and immersive events, to public sector and first response, to utilities and enterprise, to food service, and more.
The CXC is the ideal venue to meet with customers and experience Panasonic Connect’s broad portfolio of solutions up close through several immersive media zones and collaborative areas. The space fosters collaboration and gives attendees a deeper understanding of the breadth of Panasonic Connect’s innovation, engineering, and technology excellence. Together, Panasonic Connect employees, customers, and partners can have deeper conversations on the possibility of technology and how to solve current and future needs.
“The opening of our new CXC aligns with the evolution of customer experiences becoming even more immersive in recent years,” said Rick Elliot, president of Panasonic Connect North America. “Our solutions are transforming critical industries, and the best way to understand their impact is to model them in real-world environments. We see this space being the breeding ground for future innovations as we collaborate to solve many of the biggest challenges in the B2B space.”
While Panasonic Connect’s Hoffman Estates office opened in September 2023, construction of the CXC began in early 2024. Just twenty minutes from Chicago O'Hare International Airport and nearby hotels, it is an especially convenient location for visitors.
“The CXC adds exciting capabilities to our Hoffman Estates office,” said David Sholkovitz, senior director of marketing at Panasonic Connect North America. “With the facility already housing a unique manufacturing demo room and serving as an important hub for our organization, the development of the CXC is an opportunity to bolster customer-centric innovation and create an exciting destination. That is why we prioritized collaboration areas, such as the new immersive theater, during the design phase to ensure it will be an inviting environment for guests.”
The addition of the CXC to the Hoffman Estates office will underscore the facility’s reputation as one of three Panasonic Connect Centers of Excellence, with the other two locations being Newark, New Jersey and Leawood, Kansas. Local Chicago area employees and select special guests celebrated the launch of the CXC with an opening ceremony on December 18, 2024. The celebration paid tribute to the construction, architecture, and audio-video integration teams who helped build the new facility and gave employees and guests the opportunity to tour the new space.
